About NDA
The National Defence Academy, located in Khadakwasla, Pune, is the world’s first tri-service academy. Cadets of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force train together before moving on to their respective service academies — IMA, INA, and AFA.

NDA Exam Details (Conducted by UPSC)
- Conducted Twice a Year – NDA I (April), NDA II (September)

Eligibility:
- Age: 16.5 to 19.5 years
- Qualification: 10+2 (any stream for Army; PCM for Navy & Air Force)
- Gender: Both male and female cadets are eligible

NDA Preparation at Sainik School Jhansi
- Special NDA-focused classes in Maths, Science, English & Current Affairs
- Regular mock tests based on UPSC NDA pattern
- SSB orientation classes with group tasks and mock interviews

SSB Preparation
After clearing the UPSC NDA written exam, cadets appear for the SSB Interview, which includes:
- Psychological Tests
- Group Discussions and Tasks
- Personal Interviews
- Obstacle Training & Leadership Evaluation
